OHU FOUNDATIONOhu Foundation is a trust established to cultivate and mature Ohu's purpose, to build community. Ohu Development is a separate company established to realise Ohu's purpose through supporting community minded property development projects. The two organisations are held together through an agreement which holds Ohu Development accountable to the purpose of building community.
Ohu Development has a core team who together manage projects, develop the pillar's tools and services, and build a community around Ohu's projects through various forms of media. We have a strong support team who we work with regularly as well as a pool of aligned organisation who we draw from on a case by case basis depending on project needs.

Ohu Legal is a collective of legal experts who have come together to co-creating an open library of legal documents, referred to as the 'legal commons'. This will provide a starting point for communities by outlining the possible ways to legally structure shared ownership of property in New Zealand. The purpose is to support teams during the ideation and concept phases of a project. Once a project obtains capital, the project teams will have the option to work with one of the legal advisors who contributes to creating and maintaining the 'legal commons'. This will reduce overall legal costs as well as build a library of shared knowledge on which communities can grow and develop.
